Hi, my name is Michael Palmer. I'm a Business Coach and the founder of Beyondbreakthroughs.com Coaching. As a coach, I'm privileged to work with people that want to be exceptional in their business and life. Our clients want to lead a life where they can look back and say "there is nothing left...I gave it my all and squeezed out every drop." A breakthrough moment occurs when a client sees that it has been their own self imposed limiting perceptions that have kept the lid on their performance. Beyond the breakthrough the pathway to results become clear, actions to take seem natural and the results come rapidly.

Have you ever been afraid to speak up, take action or share something personal because of fear?
Where does this fear come from?
The past. We are acting now based on a fear that was created in the past that is going to dictate how our future unfolds. I bet if you put your thinking cap on and thought about what you fear today and looked back over your life you would be able to pin point an experience in life that created that fear. As time past you avoided putting yourself into those situations and the fear grew stronger until today where you just don't do it any more.
I can't remember where I read this but I have never forgot the meaning behind it. The quote was "one of the most common statements people make near the end of their life is that they wished they had taken more risks in life." Not the ones that put them in danger of not living. The ones that allow would have allowed them to breakthrough fears and live more life.
We can't change the past but we can change how it impacts our future.
What are you afraid of doing that deep down you would love to do?
- Write it down.
- Ask yourself why is it important for you to do this?
- Imagine yourself doing it in the future and then map back in your mind how you came about to take this on.
- Write down those steps.
- Are you willing to take action?
- When will you have this accomplished?
- Write it in your calendar or diary.
Take action now. That is the secret to overcoming fear. Acting despite the fear.
Life is short, don't fool yourself into believing that you have all the time in the world to live your dreams.
